Prog Slog!

I've been inspired by the blog http://progslog.blogspot.com/
I'm going to throw my hat into the ring and do something similar.
So, look out for some more posts!

Songs from the key of Dredd!

More 'music' from Dredd. Love that Bisley artwork.

Rawhide!

Why I love Dredd...cracking heads to the theme of 'Rawhide'.
More dark comedy genius by John Wagner

Nosferatu!

I love John Hickletons art on this Dredd strip. It's the John Wagner written 'Black Widow' strip from the Megazine circa early 90's.

Only John Hickleton can make the alien Nosferatu extremely sexy and horrifyingly disturbing at the same time!

Hey Kids...It's Judge Pal!

I absolutely love the dark humor in the Dredd strip.
What kid wouldn't want to rat out their parents after a good spanking?

America

This two page opener gave me chills when I first read it and still does today.

Whenever fans of Dredd vote on the greatest Dredd stories ever, America is one story that, if not the top of the list, is always so damn close. Which is surprising in one respect...the focus isn't on Dredd and Dredd doesn't really make too much of an appearance. Then again, in most of the best Dredd classics...Dredd himself appears at the end to conclude the story.

Typical Dredd

I guess good 'ol Joe is in need of some sensitivity training.
